How to start?
I offer a free 30 minute phone consultation. Please call to schedule. Potential clients are required to schedule an initial assessment/intake, which can be scheduled via online. An initial assessment/intake includes gathering information on your background and current symptoms. An intake assessment may take between 1-3 sessions, and this will help identify the best treatment targets and interventions. Once completed, a summary and recommendations will be provided. Thereafter, session amount is typically once per week, unless otherwise indicated. (See Services).
Communication with other healthcare professionals may be important and is considered a part of treatment. With your consent, contact with healthcare professionals may consist of psychiatrists, pediatricians, primary care physicians, rabbi’s, dietitians, neurologist, etc. After every 12 sessions, the following session is half-price and focused solely on re-examining treatment goals. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I believe it is important to ensure your needs are being met. If you have recently been discharged or are transitioning from a hospitalization program, collaboration with your treatment team is required. (See Interventions)
Fees and payment?
Please call to inquire about affordable fees and sliding scale. Since I do not accept insurance, upon request, I can provide monthly receipts and any relevant documentation for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. At the time of services, payment may be made via cash, check, credit card, or Venmo. However, credit card information is kept on file. *Appointment cancelation is required 24hr before your appointment. Otherwise you will be charged the full session fee. (See Services)
